Top 300 Movies Of All Time: #259 All the President's Men (1976)

It did not take Hollywood long to adapt Woodward and Bernstein's "All the President's Men". It is brilliantly realized. There's not much to say. A taut political thriller and a true story to boot.

Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford provide solid performances as the principle leads. Jane Alexander, Hal Holbrook and Jack Warden provide able support, but it is Jason Robards Jr. as Editor Ben Bradlee and won a well deserved Oscar. Predictable because we know the end, but very good nonetheless.
